Wazdan has announced that it has successfully obtained a license from the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden, marking another milestone in the company's ongoing international expansion efforts.
With the Danish license, Wazdan can now offer its portfolio of games to Danish operators, bringing its games to a new audience.
It is noteworthy that this development marks a year of growth for Wazdan, as the company had earlier expanded into several new markets this year, including Pennsylvania, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
A spokesperson for Wazdan stated: "Wazdan highly values collaborating with the largest casino licensors to establish safe, transparent, and beneficial partnerships with operators from around the world.
"We are proud to announce that our games have now been fully authorized by Spillemyndigheden, bringing true value to online gaming in Denmark."
Following several significant market entries this year, the Danish license further enhances Wazdan's growing portfolio of regulated market approvals.
For instance, in September this year, the company established operations in Pennsylvania through a partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI), launching a series of games on RSI's BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse platforms, such as 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Magic Spins, and Hot Slot: 777 Crown.
Prior to this, the company also expanded its operations to Italy through a partnership with CasinoMania, introducing over 40 slot games to the Italian market.
