Press release.- Pragmatic Play announced the launch of "Money Stacks Megaways" with bonus game enhancements and Super Collect symbols.

The Puerto Rican government will advance in the implementation of the Regulation for the Issuance, Management, and Supervision of Slot Machines on Route.
Puerto Rico.- The Puerto Rico Gaming Commission (CJPR) reported that the Fiscal Oversight Board (JSF) gave the green light to proceed with the implementation of the Regulation for the Issuance, Management, and Supervision of Slot Machines on Route, whose collection will be used to contribute to the Police Retirement Trust.
The interim executive director of the CJPR, Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán, reported that the approval of this Regulation came after a long series of procedures and meetings between the federal agency and the Commission, in charge of regulating the gaming industry in Puerto Rico.
The regulation, which regulates slot machines operating in different businesses around the island, was analyzed by the Gaming Commission before the Legislature and the JSF last August, following the signing of Law 112 of 2024, by Governor Pedro Pierluisi in July of this year. The Law establishes that a portion of the revenue collected from slot machines on route will be allocated to the Police Retirement Trust of Puerto Rico.
With the enactment of this regulation, once approved by the Board of Commissioners of the CJPR and completed the period established by the Law for its filing in the Department of State, the Gaming Commission will begin the processes of renewing licenses for operators of slot machines on route.
According to Santaella Marchán, this process will begin early next year. Once this phase is completed and licenses are granted to operators who meet the established criteria, the Police Retirement Trust could begin to receive its first revenues.
"After two years of hard and extensive work by the Legislative Assembly, the Fiscal Oversight Board, the Retirement Board, the Puerto Rico Police, organizations representing different groups of police officers, the gaming industry, and the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, today we finally have the endorsement for the continuation of the processes for the implementation of the Regulation for the Issuance, Management, and Supervision of Slot Machines on Route," said Santaella Marchán, in a statement.

He added: "With the enactment of this regulation, not only will people be able to bet in a safer and legal manner, but the retirement of our police officers will benefit, as a percentage of what is generated goes directly to the Police Retirement Trust."
