Loterias do Estado do Paraná (Lottopar) has reached a significant milestone in 2024, raising over R$ 27.5 million thanks to efficient and innovative management. These funds will be allocated to public housing projects, public safety, and social actions, consolidating Lottopar's commitment to the development of the state.
Among the highlighted initiatives, Lottopar authorized the concession of the instant lottery “Raspinha” and developed educational actions to promote responsible gaming. Additionally, R$ 10 million were invested in the construction of a Forensic Laboratory for Combating Financial Crimes for the Scientific Police, located in Curitiba.
Lottopar also became the first institution in the Brazilian lottery sector enabled to the financial activities control system (Siscoaf), which requires licensed sports betting sites to develop tools to detect suspicious activities and combat money laundering.
In the field of sports betting, Lottopar has accredited three certification laboratories, ensuring the security of operations and offering a safe entertainment experience for bettors from Paraná. Moreover, the company Apostou.com was authorized to market the instant lottery “Raspinha“, with more than 2,500 points of sale throughout the state.
Lottopar has also signed cooperation agreements with the Paraná State Football Federation (FPF) and other institutions, promoting sports integrity and responsible gaming. In October, the Responsible Gaming Week was held, an event that brought together national and international experts to spread best practices in the sector.
