Since January 1, the doors of Parisian gaming clubs have remained closed due to the political instability caused by the overthrow of the government by the motion of censure voted by deputies on December 5.

The Ministry of Labor has granted the 1,500 employees in the sector the right to partial unemployment, with 60 per cent of salaries covered by the State. However, many other expenses are affecting the clubs and weakening their situation, while waiting for a new law allowing their reopening.

Sébastien Leclercq, General Manager of Circus Casino France, which operates Club Circus Paris, guest of Good Morning Business, on BFM Business, sounded the alarm on Friday January 3.
