Comanche Cares, a community giving initiative founded by Comanche Nation Entertainment in southwest Oklahoma, raised nearly $160,000 during its recent holiday toy drive. The amount is the largest during the event’s four-year span.

“The generosity of our community is what made this a record-breaking year,” Comanche Nation Entertainment CEO Steven Doyle said in a statement. “The overwhelming support we received wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and compassion of our Comanche Nation Entertainment family and volunteers.”

Thousands of toys were donated across Comanche Nation Entertainment’s five properties. In addition to individual donations, Comanche Rewards Club members earned Comanche Credit for their contributions.

“The success of our toy drive speaks volumes to the community we have built and are proud to be a part of,” Doyle said. “Giving back to those who have given so much to us will always remain a priority for our team.”

Donations benefitted local organizations including Fletcher Christmas Store, Church of Good News, Mary Wade Christmas Pow Wow, Grandfield Fire, Charter Academy, and Brown Indian Church.
