Argentina.- This Thursday, January 9, starting at 9:30 PM in the gaming room of the casino in the town of Sierra de la Ventana, the launch of the first ball of the summer season 2025 will take place. And next week, more precisely on Thursday January 16, the respective launch will take place in the gaming room of the Necochea Casino.
For this last event, the presence of Mayor Arturo Rojas and authorities from the Buenos Aires Province Lottery and Casino Institute will be counted on. Provincial officials will share details about the progress of the bidding process for the installation of new slot machines in the casino.
The event will be attended by 300 people and a space will also be enabled to receive both residents and tourists.

The 2025 season of the Necochea Casino begins with expectations and concerns, as, although the launch of the first ball generates hope, the casino faces challenges such as unfulfilled promises and a building in need of repairs. Additionally, there is opposition in the community to the sale of the complex, considered a loss of a historic public space, an issue that will be addressed soon.
Furthermore, due to the delay in the bidding call, scheduled for October 2024, which would enable the operation of slot machines in the room, uncertainty among the workers of the Necochea Casino grows day by day.
In December, the Necochea Deliberative Council met, and the situation of the casino was among the topics discussed. After the meeting, councilman Marcelo Schwarz told the local media TSN Necochea: “There are issues that are part of our agenda and that must be urgently resolved, including that of the casino.”
