FEMURE was integrated as a collaborating partner in the Spanish organization that brings together various actors from the gaming sector.
Spain.- The Murcian Federation of Recreation (FEMURE) signed an agreement to join as a collaborating partner in the Platform for Sustainable Gaming, a cross-sector entity that includes private management gaming companies and associations in Spain, and which carries out its activities in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
As detailed in a statement, FEMURE was founded in 2005 with the purpose of integrating and aligning the interests and objectives of the gaming associations of the Region of Murcia. For this, FEMURE works jointly with specialized professional associations and acts as a spokesperson for the sector before the Administration, the media, and society in general, also collaborating with any initiative that is in tune with the values defended by the Platform for Sustainable Gaming, such as the Project FES.
From the entity that groups several actors in the Spanish gaming sector, they declared: “This joint collaboration is born precisely from this, from the suitability of the content of Project FES in that, through rigorous and verified reports and studies, it conveys both to the sector and to the administrations and to society in general the reality of the impact of private gaming on society and provides mechanisms for collaboration among all of them for the construction of sustainable and responsible leisure”.

And they concluded: “With all this, we celebrate its upcoming presentation of the program in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and being sure of its success, we commit with enthusiasm to its promotion and follow-up to favor its expansion to the rest of the national territory, in order to achieve that previously mentioned goal of demystifying our sector and our role in society to have a deeper impact on all our interest groups and thus be able to work together in a more realistic scenario”.
