In that sense, Atanasof convened representatives of the five horse racing circuits of the territory. Along with the vice president María Laura García; the executive secretary, Marcelo Santillán; and the provincial director of Racecourses and Casinos, Juan Puleston; they met with representatives of the Hipódromos de La Plata, San Isidro, Tandil, Azul, and Dolores with the aim of advancing joint strategies that allow strengthening the activity and addressing the particular needs of each of the establishments.

At the beginning of February, when presenting the project for the reactivation of horse racing, from the IPLyC of Buenos Aires it was assured that "the turf industry has years of tradition and the Lottery takes on the commitment to respect that history and bet on a turf that returns to be the great spectacle that the province of Buenos Aires deserves."

In this sense, the new management announced that it assumes the responsibility of "revaluing horse racing so that the people of Buenos Aires return to the racecourses to share those spaces where they can enjoy this noble and traditional sport."

From the institute, it was pointed out that the turf industry currently generates more than 80,000 jobs directly or indirectly, including the activities developed at the racecourses of La Plata, San Isidro, Azul, Tandil, and Dolores.
