Palmeiras has scheduled next Monday (13) for the official presentation of Sportingbet as the club's main sponsor. The betting house from the Entain Group will pay the club R$ 100 million per year in a contract that lasts until the end of 2027 and also includes performance targets, which could lead to an annual revenue of up to R$ 170 million.
The deal with Sportingbet has been in the works since October last year, considering that the contract with Crefisa and FAM was set to end at the end of 2024. From now on, with the departure of the companies from president Leila Pereira, Palmeiras aims to reach the mark of R$ 200 million per year in properties of the Alviverde uniform.
The most significant step was taken with the three-year contract closure with Sportingbet, licensed by the Secretary of Prizes and Betting (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance on December 31.
The betting house from the Entain Group will pay Palmeiras R$ 100 million per year until the end of 2027, potentially reaching R$ 170 million depending on the club's performance targets. A clause also allows for the extension of the agreement for an additional year, also depending on the club's performance.
Sportingbet will be officially presented as the main sponsor of Palmeiras next Monday (13) at an event at Allianz Parque, when the club will unveil the new uniform already featuring the betting house's brand.
