After partnering with Bet7k as the new main sponsor of the club in mid-December, Vitória officially introduced the new partner in the press room of Barradão. The Lion's association with the betting house began on January 1st and was sealed for R$ 16 million fixed, plus variables, until the end of 2027.
At the presentation, Vitória's president, Fábio Mota, stated that the deal is the biggest sponsorship in the club's history and explained that the contract clauses allow the amounts to reach R$ 20 million (or more) depending on established goals.
The director emphasized the importance of the partnership with the new partner, which enabled the signings of right-back Claudinho and attacking midfielder Wellington Rato.
"The contract is for R$ 16 million and can reach R$ 20 million or even more, with the contract clauses, which can be activated by the engagement of Vitória's fans and I am sure they will be met", explained the rubro-negro president.
“When I arrived at the presidency, the contract with the betting house that sponsored the club was 500 thousand and today we move from that to 16 million guaranteed. It helps a lot, but it doesn't pay our payroll. Our payroll is R$ 7.5 million and last year it was R$ 5.5 million. This money from Bet 7k came at a good time and enabled the purchase of Wellington Rato and Claudinho", added Motta.
In 2025, the Rubro-Negro will compete in the Campeonato Baiano and four other competitions: the Copa do Nordeste, Copa do Brasil, Copa Sul-Americana, and Campeonato Brasileiro. In 2024, the Lion was the Baiano champion and finished Serie A in 11th place.
