The talk was directed at the professional football cast of Paraná Clube.
Brazil.- State Lotteries of Paraná (Lottopar) organized a conference on sports integrity for the professional cast of Paraná Clube, at the Ninho da Gralha Training Center, in Quatro Barras. This event, held on the eve of the Paranaense Championship 2025, aimed to raise awareness among athletes about the importance of maintaining an ethical and manipulation-free sports environment.
The talk was given by Fabio Veiga, Director of Operations at Lottopar, and Pablo Wosniacki, advisor to the Directorate of Operations, with the presence of Robson Seerig, general secretary of the Paraná Football Federation (FPF). This collaboration reinforces the alliance between the institutions in the fight against sports manipulation and the promotion of responsible gaming.
The event is part of a series of conferences promoted by Lottopar in collaboration with the FPF, focused on educating athletes, clubs, and other sports agents about the rules and regulations governing competitions and the betting sector. During the talk, key aspects of the Federal Law No. 14.790/23 and Ordinance No. 67/2024 of Lottopar, which prohibit the participation in betting of people with direct or indirect influence on the results of sports competitions, were highlighted.
Since October, Lottopar has maintained a technical cooperation agreement with the FPF, which includes joint actions for sports integrity. In addition to the conferences, the collaboration covers training and activities aimed at the general public, referees, and clubs, with the goal of preventing illegal betting practices and strengthening the regulation of the sector.
