The provincial management committed to collaborate with the advancement of measures that respond to claims that workers have been maintaining for a long time.
Argentina.- Within the framework of the event of the launch of the first ball of the season at the Casino de Mar del Plata, it was announced by the Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos (IPLyC) of Buenos Aires that it will work on responding to a series of measures and advancements that address claims that the sector's workers have been maintaining for a long time.
With the presence of the provincial Government Minister, Carlos Bianco, and the president of the IPLyC, Gonzalo Atanasof, the event announced a progress in the regularization of employee contributions.
«It was confirmed the concrete possibility of obtaining pension contributions for personnel who entered as temporary workers in the 90s and now need responses due to their employment status. We need a law regarding these contributions that were partial, because they worked only the season», stated Roberto "Chucho" Páez, general secretary of the Union of Administration, Maintenance, and Services of Provincial Casinos.
According to the official, the provincial government is working with its own blocks in the Chamber of Deputies so that the law, which already has half sanction in the Senate, is expedited. «If approved, it would benefit many workers who entered during that time and who, precisely because their temporary work was not taken into account, are not in a position to retire», emphasized Páez.

At the same time, the news from the Province also covered the final processes of casino tenders. «This is very good because for 20 years (the period contemplated in the tender processes) the personnel know that their job is secured. This was something highly requested by the unions and it relieves the work of the provincial government in that sense», he stated.
