iNO Games is a slot studio based in Brazil that is gaining prominence in the iGaming industry with unique content, tailored to the preferences of the local and Latin American audience. GMB spoke exclusively with Franciani Roos Bordignon, CEO and founder, to find out how the developer draws inspiration from its roots, why it places so much emphasis on creative freedom, and what the future holds for the company.

Games Magazine Brasil - iNO Games is a relatively new company, but with a lot of experience in its team. Can you tell us a bit about this collective experience?
Franciani Roos Bordignon -

The studio was founded in 2019, but a good part of the team has known each other and worked together for many years. The iGaming market in Brazil is still relatively new and despite its huge potential, it continues to grow. Therefore, this experience is very valuable: it's more than 12 years in the industry, developing various products, from sweepstakes and pulltabs for the USA to video bingos and keno for Latin America.

In addition, we were a partner studio of PokerStars and Skywind Group for a few years, with an exclusive focus on slots. This partnership brought us incredible baggage and an in-depth view of the global market.

One of your goals is to encourage the creative freedom of your team. What does this mean to you and how does it reflect in the games?
One of our main goals as a studio is to bring innovation to the iGaming industry, and this process, by essence, is collaborative. Rarely will the first idea be the best, as the best ideas are built from the evolution of potential concepts with the contribution of different viewpoints.

From the beginning, we knew that encouraging creativity within the studio would be essential to achieving this innovation, so we established a well-structured pre-production process, but with a lot of creative freedom at this stage, where the team is encouraged to sketch ideas that are detailed and refined until we reach the expected result.

We believe that all team members, regardless of their area of operation, can contribute to the product. Therefore, we encourage everyone to actively participate: playing, testing, and sharing their opinions. The magic of creative freedom is right there: often, the final product ends up completely different from the original idea, but in a surprisingly better way.

The studio was created with strong South American roots. How does this Latin American heritage influence your games?
Our games are a mix of the joy, creativity, and vibrancy that are characteristic of the Latin American people, always with that touch of humor, of course! that sets us apart. We seek to capture this contagious energy in every detail, creating experiences that represent who we are and at the same time guarantee fun for our players with our unique style: originality and innovation! Offering quality entertainment while eliciting some smiles from our players.

iNO is all about putting innovation first. Tell us about the game creation process and how you incorporate innovation into everything you do.
Innovation is present in all areas of our game production, as it is one of the fundamental pillars of the studio. Therefore, we encourage innovation at every stage of development, whether in the search for new tools that optimize production or in the continuous improvement of internal processes. We believe that an innovative mindset makes everyone in the studio always question how to improve their own work.

In the game creation process, we always strive to bring a differential to our products, whether through mechanics or visuals. From the beginning, we launched a series of innovative mechanics, many of them unprecedented in the market. Over time, we realized that innovating also involves significant risks, but we learned that innovation is not just about creating something totally new, but also reinterpreting existing mechanics, exploring new art directions, or even offering creative technical solutions.

Today, our creation process is more strategic: we seek to align innovation with market trends and player preferences. In this way, we can be more assertive, delivering innovative products without losing the essence and vision of the studio.

What are some of the most popular releases from iNO Games and what made them so successful?
The Bling Bling Penguin series is, without a doubt, a favorite among players. We launched the first game in June 2023 and the sequel in July 2024, maintaining the success of the original. Both titles carry the signature of INO games: innovative mechanics, unique themes with a touch of humor, charismatic characters, and immersive gameplay.

In addition, our latest releases, Monsterville Secrets and Delights of Olympus, also showed exceptional results. The games showed a significant improvement in KPIs and have already secured a place among the public's favorites.

Can you give us an insight into the future of iNO Games? What will the next twelve months look like?
We couldn't be prouder of our roadmap for 2025. After a transition year in 2024, where, after three years as COO, I took over as CEO with changes in product direction, we are ready to resume our releases bringing a new dose of innovation to the market.

Our projection is seven releases in the year, with a diversification of mechanics: from improvements to those we introduced in 2024 to completely new mechanics for the market.

In addition, we will have our first releases focused exclusively on the Brazilian market, marking the beginning of our new line of non-slot games. We couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to focus on the local market, something that was only possible thanks to the support of our great partner Games Global.
