The Philippine police have confirmed two vehicles used by kidnappers during their escape: a red Mitsubishi Adventure (license plate 4936) and a silver Mitsubishi Mirage (license plate 5112). The police are calling on the public to provide information to help bring the suspects to justice as soon as possible.
Currently, authorities are actively conducting further investigations to determine the motives behind the kidnapping, while making every effort to locate the victim. The police stated that the progress of the investigation requires collaboration from various parties, especially the active support of the public.
The Philippine police noted that as Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) are gradually shut down, there is a noticeable increase in crime related to kidnapping cases.
The number of kidnapping incidents in places like Manila, Bulacan Province, and Camarines Sur has been rising, with some suspects identified as Chinese nationals. Some victims have not only been kidnapped but also murdered or held for a long time.
Senator Zhang Qiaowei has previously called on the government to intensify efforts to completely eliminate the criminal gangs related to POGO that are still illegally staying in the Philippines.
He emphasized that these illegal immigrants might engage in criminal activities, posing security risks to Philippine society.
"Illegal individuals evading deportation are likely to engage in unlawful activities, especially after the shutdown of POGO, as criminals try to profit through other means. We must strengthen law enforcement to ensure domestic security and stability," said Zhang Qiaowei.
The police and relevant departments urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to maintain social order and safety.
