The Brazilian TV channel SBT announced its sponsors for the 2025 season.
Brazil.- The television channel SBT revealed its three sponsors for the 2025 broadcast season of the UEFA Champions League and the CONMEBOL Sudamericana Cup. The media company signed ten sponsorship deals for the continental football competitions.
Among the partnerships signed by the company are three online sports betting and casino operators: Novibet, Sportingbet, and VBet. In addition to these, other brands from different economic sectors that will be announced during the broadcasts include: Bem Brasil, Haleon, Heineken, Pagbank, Renault, Sanofi, and TIM.

Marcos Kotait, national commercial director of SBT, highlighted: "Having more than ten commercial slots already sold for the football season is a great pride for us. This reinforces the market's confidence in the strength of our programming and in our commitment to broadcast two such important and nationally-reaching championships."
It is worth noting that the 2025 South American Championship will feature five Brazilian teams: Atlético-MG, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Grêmio, Vasco, and Vitória. The group stage of the competition will begin in April.

United States.- The chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), Kirk Hendrick, announced that he will resign after the next legislative session. He was appointed chairman and CEO of the NGCB in January 2023. The Board is one of the most relevant in the United States.
Hendrick made the announcement this week after a meeting with Governor Joe Lombardo. The NGCB said that the date for Hendrick's last day is yet to be determined. The legislative session will begin on February 3 and will last until June 2025.

Hendrick noted: "I recently had a wonderful conversation with Governor Lombardo, and we talked about how much the Board has achieved since he appointed me chairman two years ago. We also discussed what remains to be done, including the Board's priorities for the legislative session that starts next month. Our conversation concluded with me communicating to the Governor my intention to resign as chairman of the Board after the legislative session."
He added: "My announcement today gives Governor Lombardo time to find the next chairman of the Board and allows for a smooth transition of leadership. It also allows me to tell all the incredible agents and employees of the board, as well as the Nevada gaming industry, citizens, and visitors, that I am dedicated to achieving much more in the coming months."
