The Bogotá Lottery receives a CMD certification for its Anti-Bribery Management System.

Colombia.- The Bogotá Lottery received certification for its Anti-Bribery Management System granted by CMD Certification SAS. In this way, the Colombian entity conveyed that it becomes the first lottery in the country to be certified and the only one currently in Latin America.

The lottery reported that the follow-up audit of the Anti-Bribery Management System certification was approved under the ISO 37001:2016 standard.

From the Bogotá entity, they highlighted that the certification is proof of their committed work. "This recognition, granted by CMD Certification SAS, is proof of our commitment to ethics, transparency, and the fight against bribery, ensuring that our operations and procedures are carried out with the highest standards of compliance," they stated.

They also thanked their team and partners for their effort and dedication at each stage of this process. The lottery committed to continue working to strengthen the trust of the players, contributing to the development of the gambling sector in Colombia and to the country's health system.

Meanwhile, two lotteries were re-launched in Colombia after two decades of absence. On the other hand, the Lotería de Nariño announced an extraordinary draw that seeks to reposition the brand.

The governor of Norte de Santander, William Villamizar, told the media La Opinión de Colombia that of the contributions from this draw, 12 percent of the sales made throughout the country, will be allocated to the health of the Norte de Santander residents.

The draw of the Lotería de Nariño will take place on February 15 at 11:45 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Channel 1 and will offer a main prize of COP14.000m (USD3.2m) and a total of prizes that exceeds COP32.000m (USD7.2m). Twelve percent of the generated income will be allocated to strengthen public health initiatives, contributing to the well-being and quality of life of the people of Nariño.

During 2024, territorial games in the country showed a 7 percent year-on-year increase in transfers to local and departmental health funds. Thus, according to Coljuegos, COP613.201m (USD145.8m) were transferred to the municipalities and governorships to strengthen the subsidized regime.
