Spain.- While Cirsa is expected to present its financial report for 2024 next Thursday February 20, the company anticipated that it will close the fiscal year with an EBITDA of approximately EUR698m and approximate sales of EUR2.195m, a record figure for the multinational gaming company.
These results represent a significant increase compared to the previous year, placing the company in a favorable position before its anticipated stock market debut.
According to information sent to investors and published by the local media El Economista, the operating result will represent an improvement of about 10.8 percent compared to EUR630.8m from the previous season.
With this profitability, the organization indicates that the debt/EBITDA ratio will be 3.8 times. From the calculation, it is derived that it will be around EUR2.650m, slightly higher than the EUR2.598m from the previous quarter. The metric is also within the range previously communicated to the market - between 3.7 times and 3.9 times -.
The improvement in profitability has gone hand in hand with an increase in sales, which rose 8.1 percent compared to the previous year. In addition, the online division of Cirsa has experienced a notable growth of 29 percent in sales, reaching EUR420m, with an EBITDA for this division of EUR85m, which represents an increase of 55 percent.
The head of the lottery signed an agreement with the Dominican College of Notaries.
Dominican Republic.- The Dominican College of Notaries and the National Lottery signed an agreement to ensure transparency and legality in gambling draws. As part of the agreement, notaries will supervise daily draws.

This agreement seeks to strengthen public trust and ensure that processes comply with current regulations, under the supervision of public notaries. In this regard, the College of Notaries will assign two public notaries permanently to supervise and certify the daily draws of the National Lottery.
The professionals will ensure the impartiality and credibility of the process, ensuring compliance with Law 5158. In addition, the notaries must follow strict dress protocols and carry their official seal to guarantee the legal validity of each act.
After signing the agreement, “Quico” Tabar highlighted the importance of the agreement to strengthen institutionalism and guarantee safer and more reliable processes. “This agreement sets a precedent in the efficient management of our responsibilities,” he expressed according to Diario Digital.
For his part, the president of the College of Notaries, Jhon Richard Feliz, emphasized that this agreement reinforces the role of notaries in protecting public faith. “Our mission is to ensure that each draw is conducted with total transparency, providing legal security to participants and society in general,” he stated.
