Organizer Clarion Gaming announced that the 2025 Barcelona ICE and iGB Affiliate exhibition attracted a record number of 59,101 independent visitors. This figure surpassed the previous record of 52,345 set in 2024 when the event was last held at its original location in London.

ICE welcomed 50,019 independent attendees, an 11% increase from the previous year, while iGB Affiliate hosted 9,082 attendees, a 24% increase from the 2024 peak.

The event attracted a total of 107,664 visitors, setting another record for the exhibition. This number measures the visitor traffic at the Fira Gran Via exhibition center in Barcelona.

Nine countries had visitor numbers in the four digits. Spain had the highest number of visitors at 8,954, followed by the UK (6,518), Malta (3,074), Cyprus (2,328), and Ukraine (1,938). Other countries with significant visitor numbers included the USA (1,730), Italy (1,496), Bulgaria (1,252), and Germany (1,157).

Clarion Gaming's Managing Director Stuart Hunter confirmed that the data was independently verified and reflects the number of independent visitors. "I am delighted that the relocation of ICE and iGB Affiliate to Barcelona has been warmly welcomed by our international stakeholder community," he said.

Hunter emphasized that the opening day saw a record attendance of 32,788, while the closing day's attendance increased by 20% from 2024, reaching 24,926.

The event saw growth in major regions including continental Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia. Attendance from the UAE and India also significantly increased. Although UK attendance slightly declined as expected, the number of company representatives remained stable, with a priority on senior leadership attendance.

Looking ahead, demand for the 2026 exhibition has surged, with 86% of the event space already booked. "The response has been very positive, with many exhibitors rebooking and, in many cases, reserving more space for January 2026," Hunter noted.

To accommodate growth, ICE will expand to Hall 1, while iGB Affiliate will move to Hall 8 to provide a more specialized experience. "The success of the 2025 event highlights the value of this move, and we look forward to maintaining this momentum in 2026," Hunter added.

iGB Events Portfolio Director Naomi Barton described the first Barcelona event's feedback as "extremely outstanding."

Barton said: "The growth of iGB Affiliate is quite astonishing, and Barcelona has highlighted the brand's popularity and status." "While these numbers only tell part of the story, the independent attendance of 9,082 people represents a 24% increase from 2024 and marks the fifth consecutive year of significant growth."

She added, "Representatives from 108 countries attended iGB Affiliate, making it one of the most international live B2B events on the industry calendar."

Barton also mentioned that the team is currently analyzing feedback from exhibitors and visitors and will shift focus to the iGB L!VE event moving from Amsterdam to London's ExCeL in July.
