Casa do Impacto, the social entrepreneurship center of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, has launched the sixth edition of the RISE for Impact program. Aiming to transform ideas into technically viable and financially sustainable solutions, this edition focuses on environmental and social issues.
The first stage of the program was successfully completed with two intensive days at the entrepreneurship hub. This year, 93 projects participated, of which 30 advanced to the current phase. Areas of diversity and inclusion, mental health, education, and culture are highlighted.
Luis Rego, administrator of Santa Casa, emphasized the importance of efficiency and effectiveness in his speech, quoting Peter Drucker. Nuno Comando, director of Casa do Impacto, presented the mentor ecosystem and highlighted the opportunity to improve products and services.
The jury of this edition, composed of prominent leaders such as Nuno Comando and Gustavo Freitas, will announce the winners this week.
