Parking is once again free at Golden Nugget Atlantic City. The casino in the city’s Marina District ended a paid-parking scheme at 5 p.m. Friday.
It had been charging a base fee of $10 since August, after years of being the only Atlantic City casino not to charge any patrons to self-park.
“It was an important part of our business, and we’re glad to offer it again,” said Tom Pohlman, the casino’s general manager. “Parking is now free all day, every day.” He would not discuss why the casino started charging for parking last summer.
Other casinos have offered free parking to customers with certain levels of player’s club cards.
