The new prize scale will take effect on Monday, March 17.
Argentina.- The Hipódromo de Palermo announced an increase of up to 25 percent in the prize scale, and the bonus for horses finishing between 6th and 10th place will now be AR$150,000 (USD 150). The increase will take effect next Monday, March 17.
Entries for next Monday's races can be made on Monday 10, and Forfaits and Riding Commitments will be available on Tuesday 11.
It is worth noting that in 2024, Palermo increased its prize scale on nine occasions, and this 2025 is no exception. From the racetrack, it was stated that they seek to maintain their "leadership position in the horse racing industry".
Since January, the Hipódromo de Palermo has been implementing improvements to offer a better experience to its visitors and to make transactions at its facilities more agile. In this regard, from 2025 it is possible to make payments for bets using debit cards and money in account using virtual wallets such as MODO, Mercado Pago, Naranja X, UALÁ, among others, at the sales and payment windows located in the stands.
