The State Government set the standards for the first state lottery, with a strong focus on security and economic development.
Brazil.- The Government of Tocantins, through the State Secretariats of Public Security (SSP) and Partnerships and Projects (SPI), established the guidelines for the operation of Lototins, the state's first state lottery. The meeting between the secretaries Bruno Azevedo (SSP) and Thomas Jefferson (SPI), aimed to define the operational protocols to ensure efficiency, security, and compliance with local regulations.
Lototins will be implemented in the 139 municipalities of Tocantins, with the promise of being an additional source of revenue for the state. In addition to generating resources, the lottery will bring significant investments and the creation of new jobs. This initiative is expected to boost the local economy, promoting the growth of businesses linked to lottery services.
Secretary Bruno Azevedo emphasized the importance of ensuring the efficiency of the project and the security of the entire operation. "It is essential to ensure the efficiency of the project and security aspects, protecting citizens and maintaining the integrity of the process," highlighted Azevedo, emphasizing the commitment to transparency and legality of the lottery.
The funds raised by Lototins will be allocated to essential areas such as sports, cancer fighting, social assistance, and will also support the Associations of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (Apaes) and information technology projects. This allocation of resources aims to directly benefit the population of Tocantins and promote the social and economic development of the state.
For his part, Secretary Thomas Jefferson highlighted that Lototins will operate according to current legislation and complying with the necessary protocols to safeguard the interests of bettors, with the intention of promoting responsible gaming and combating illegality. "The lottery operates within the standards of security and transparency. The goal is to direct the funds raised directly to the Tocantinense population," he said.
