Veikkaus has released two latest updates about its operations, one concerning its B2B sector and the other about its board of directors.
Finnish Gaming
Veikkaus's subsidiary Fennica Gaming was established in 2022 and launched its online casino product portfolio at the end of last year.
In a recent statement, Fennica announced the integration of "a well-known Finnish gaming studio" into its operations, along with over 200 game IPs and 50 employees.
Jonas Reuter, Chairman of the Board of Fennica Gaming, stated: "This integration with the renowned gaming studio is a strategic move to meet the growing demand for localized content.
"We are now merging a tradition of excellence in creating localized content across different gaming verticals, which dominates in Finland. This lays the foundation for our success internationally and enhances our ability to offer customized gaming experiences to different markets.
"This move is also a continuation of the work initiated by our new board advisor, Mr. Simon Harmon, further solidifying our commitment to excellence and innovation."
The current games of Fennica Gaming include Fruttis 2, Portal Heroes, Alkemia, Chirp Amore, and Wobbyblobs.

Veikkaus Board of Directors
At the Veikkaus annual shareholders' meeting, Anne Larilahti, Juha Väre, and Christian Cedercreutz announced their resignation from the board.
Martti Ala-Härkönen and Charles Cohen were elected as new members.
The remaining five members, with Kaisa Olkkonen serving as the chairperson, Leena Vainiomäki as the vice-chair, and Minna Pajumaa, Ossi Lindroos, and Katri Harra-Salonen continuing as board members.
Olkkonen stated: "The Veikkaus board is now stronger, with rich experience in international monetary gambling and financial management.
"Veikkaus's vision is to become a respected and successful international gambling group by 2030.
"Ala-Härkönen and Cohen will bring the much-needed valuable experience to support Veikkaus's transformation journey."
