VIP Play Inc. announced that its temporary license for sports betting and iGaming hosting services in West Virginia has been approved. Previously, VIP Play had announced a market access partnership with Wheeling Island Casino in northern Delaware.
This milestone marks the company's first expansion beyond Tennessee, where it currently operates mobile sports betting.
The temporary license in West Virginia also incorporates iGaming into the company's business scope, allowing VIP Play to participate in the rapidly developing iGaming industry. VIP Play expects to start serving customers in West Virginia in the coming months.
Bruce Cassidy, CEO and Chairman of the Board of VIP Play, said: "Obtaining the temporary sports betting and online gaming license in West Virginia marks an important milestone in our expansion journey, demonstrating our commitment to providing innovative experiences to a broader audience. As our business continues to expand, our pursuit of excellence remains constant, and we are excited to contribute to West Virginia's vibrant gaming community."
