iGaming group Soft2Bet has announced that its brand targeting the Romanian market, Don.ro, has entered into a multi-year main sponsorship agreement with Liga 1 top team CFR 1907 Cluj. This marks a further deepening of Soft2Bet's localization efforts in Southeast Europe.
Under the agreement, the Don.ro brand will appear on the home and away jerseys, training gear, and several key advertising positions at the Constantin Radulescu Stadium starting from the 2025-26 season. Both parties will also collaborate to create a series of digital interactions and match day fan engagement activities to enhance the deep connection between the brand and the fan community.
CFR Cluj Chairman Cristian Balaj stated: "The addition of Don.ro not only enhances our commercial partnership system but also proves the club's increasing appeal both domestically and internationally."
Further reading: Don.ro is set to officially launch in 2024, built on Soft2Bet's MEGA platform, offering a highly gamified interactive experience. However, some product features are not yet fully available and are being deployed gradually in accordance with Romanian regulatory requirements.
This collaboration will also introduce a jersey giveaway event for season ticket holders, emphasizing the concept of responsible gambling. A spokesperson for Don.ro emphasized: "We are committed to creating a digital entertainment environment that is both safe and fun."
This strategic sponsorship is part of Soft2Bet's global expansion plan. Following its entry into the United States in March this year, with a market access agreement signed with Caesars Entertainment for New Jersey, Soft2Bet has also launched ElaBet.gr in Greece and obtained full operating licenses in Spain.
Soft2Bet Chief Marketing Officer Oksana Tsyhankova stated: "We are delighted to partner with CFR Cluj, integrating local sports resources with our gamified platform to continuously expand our brand's influence in the Romanian market."
