Manchester United officially announced a multi-year partnership agreement with the international betting brand Parimatch, becoming its official betting partner in parts of Asia as well as the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions. This partnership will take effect immediately from the Premier League season opener on August 17.
According to the agreement, the Parimatch brand will appear on the LED screens at Old Trafford during each home game, while also providing a rich experience for fans in the target regions, including VIP tickets and exclusive interactive events. Manchester United's Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Armstrong, stated that Parimatch has a good track record of cooperation in the sports field and believes that this cooperation will help the club expand its fan base in key markets.
Parimatch CEO Serge Portnov emphasized that this cooperation is not only a commercial linkage but also a joint effort with a top football club to shape a new type of fan experience. It is noteworthy that Parimatch has recently been under regulatory investigation in India due to compliance issues, with related accounts being frozen, but its layout in international sports marketing is still accelerating.
