William Hill has struck a deal with technology platform 2mee in a bid to enhance player engagement.
The deal will see William Hill leverage 2mee’s proprietary HoloMessage® solution to deliver video messages from its team and brand influencers in the form of clickable pop-ups on its website and apps.
Influencers will record messages on their smartphones, which will be delivered to target customers at strategic points via the 2mee platform.
In its first campaign using the platform, William Hill used HoloMessage® to target audience segments in hopes of getting players to opt-in to the campaign.
The result was a 340% increase in engagement for a single influencer HoloMessage® compared to a banner ad that lasted for 31 days.
In addition, HoloMessage® solutions can be used to retain players, win back players, and attract new players.
James Riley, CEO of 2mee, said: “We are delighted to be working with such a high caliber operator, William Hill has achieved engagement, engagement and success from the first deployment of 2mee’s HoloMessage® Significant increase in registrations and ultimately revenue.
“This is certainly just the beginning of our collaboration, and we have already identified many other areas where HoloMessage® can enhance engagement, foster brand loyalty and ultimately significantly increase customer lifetime value and revenue.”
Matt Baulk, head of personalization and product at William Hill, added: “The remarkable success of our first deployment of HoloMessage® has allowed us to expand its use across every touchpoint in the customer journey, from compliance messaging to Sports Betting Offers.
“The simplicity of the technology makes it very user-friendly, from recording to deployment.”
In previous news, William Hill was recently confirmed as the new title sponsor of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL).
