Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has completed the acquisition of SEO and content service provider Titan.
In the initial announcement, it was confirmed that GiG will pay a total of €3.2m ($3.4m), with €1m to be arranged upon completion of the transaction, another €1m after 12 months, and the final €1.2m two years later.
The integration of Titan will support the operational capabilities of Gentoo Media (formerly GiG Media) and its content and affiliate business.
This move will also impact cost-saving measures, with SEO and content costs in the departments consolidated under Titan expected to "significantly reduce," with estimates reaching up to 50%.
Gentoo Media CEO and GiG Acting Group CEO Jonas Warrer stated: "I am pleased to announce that we have completed the acquisition of Titan.
"This acquisition aligns with our strategic goals to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen our position in the market. Integrating Titan's SEO and content expertise will enhance our service capabilities.
"We look forward to realizing the benefits this will bring to our operations and stakeholders."
Last year, Titan reported revenues of €3.3 million and EBITDA of €720,000, meaning the acquisition cost is slightly less than the company's total revenue.
Regarding the initial transaction, Titan's co-CEO and co-founder Lee Tadd said: "We are excited to join hands with GiG Media.
"Our combined expertise will enable us to deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.
"We look forward to leveraging our strengths to drive innovation and excellence in SEO and content services."
