SOFTSWISS has acquired a majority stake in South African software provider Turfsport, launching a retail betting solution.
The new solution supports a variety of betting activities, including sports betting, horse racing, lottery, and casino games, and helps operators quickly and legally establish offline betting businesses.
The launch of the SOFTSWISS retail betting solution comes as the global sports betting and lottery market is recovering. The physical betting industry, which suffered significant setbacks during the pandemic, has begun to return to normal.
Over the past five years, the industry's revenue has declined, expected to drop to 219 billion euros by 2024. However, with demand rising again, the industry shows signs of recovery, growing by 0.4% this year. Profit margins are also improving, jumping to 14.1%, indicating a strong rebound.
SOFTSWISS Chief Commercial Officer Max Trafimovich commented: "The retail betting solution embodies our firm commitment to innovation and industry leadership. After acquiring a majority stake in Turfsport, we conducted a comprehensive review of the solution to ensure it not only continues to thrive in South Africa but also makes a significant impact outside of South Africa. This is not just another sports betting solution—it is an integrated platform that enhances the entire gambling experience, from lotteries to the most popular casino games, keeping up with market trends and player expectations."
Advanced Features
SOFTSWISS leverages its partnership with South African software provider Turfsport to integrate advanced features into the retail betting solution to meet the ever-changing needs of operators.
Additionally, the software provider seamlessly integrates retail and online platforms, allowing players to easily manage their accounts across different channels. Another advanced feature is real-time risk monitoring and customized reporting, providing operators with crucial insights to make informed decisions.
Furthermore, the platform supports multiple configurations to accommodate different shop setups. Other notable features include integrated cash management, daily profit tracking, and pre-match and live event information from various suppliers.
Betting Options for Player Engagement
According to the company, the SOFTSWISS retail betting solution is designed to cater to a wide range of player preferences, offering a variety of betting options. Players can enjoy various casino games at dedicated kiosks within betting shops. These kiosks offer RNG and live games from top providers such as Betgames, Evolution, Ezugi, Habanero, Nolimit City, Pragmatic Play, Spribe, and Spinmatic.
The platform also supports various sports and social event betting, including horse racing, and has industry-leading sources providing comprehensive event and odds data.
Additionally, the recently launched SOFTSWISS Lotto software allows betting on the results of over 300 international lotteries, offering operators the flexibility to create customized lottery events for a unique betting experience.
Finally, the provider announced its participation in the SBC Lisbon Summit held from September 24 to 26. At booth B-160, company representatives will showcase their latest solutions.
