The SBC Summit 2024 has opened its doors in Lisbon with the notable presence of the Portuguese Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis, marking a milestone in the event's history. This year, the event has tripled its exhibition space and has experienced an impressive 67% increase in attendance.
Organized by SBC, the global summit is attracting more than 25,000 delegates and 600 exhibitors from around the world, consolidating Lisbon as a key hub for the sports betting and gaming industries. Rasmus Sojmark, CEO of SBC, commented: "This event not only strengthens Lisbon's position on the global event map, but also promotes an estimated economic impact of up to EUR 100 million for Portugal".
The event will run until September 26 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena, offering eight stages with notable figures such as Tony Hawk, Luís Figo, and Sir Tim Berners-Lee. With the presence of global leaders and the promotion of innovations in the sector, SBC Summit Lisbon 2024 continues to be a key catalyst for the development and expansion of the global gaming market.
