Betsat submits an official request for a license to operate sports betting and online games in Brazil.

The betting house Betsat has followed the path of the law and met all the requirements of the Brazilian federal government to remain in the legalization process within the new stage of regulation of the sports betting and online casino sector. Starting this Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the 'Purple Fan House' is listed in the Betting Management System (Sigap), from the Ministry of Finance, under the license application protocol 0157/2024.

Of the more than 5,000 betting houses operating in Brazil, we are part of about 1% that expressed interest from the beginning of the discussions on definitive regulation. Our values include creating a healthier and safer environment for the entire sports and entertainment ecosystem,” says Thiago Vancelotte, country manager of Betsat in Brazil.

The company has strived to ensure transparency as always and the security of users, in addition to the proper tax collection starting from January 1, 2025. The aim is for a standard of conduct that serves as an example for the entire industry.

Our main concern on a daily basis is with integrity and responsibility in all our practices, to increasingly raise the ethical standard of the sports betting and online casino sector,” adds Thiago Vancelotte.

Betsat has been operating in Brazil since the beginning of 2023. In the current season, it became the main sponsor of Vitória, in the return to the national elite of the Serie B champion. The contract, which lasts until the end of 2025, provided investments that helped the club to reclaim the title of the Baiano Championship after 7 years, overcoming the biggest rival in the final at their stadium.

Since June, Zico has been the official ambassador of Betsat. The former player and idol of the Brazilian fans is part of the strategy to consolidate the brand in the country, as a synonym of credibility, ethics, and high international performance.
