Spain.- The Hipódromo de La Zarzuela will open its doors to the public on Saturday, October 12 to celebrate Hispanic Day. The day will feature a program of six races and, from the morning, a varied gastronomic offering will be available.

Of the total races, the fifth will be the most anticipated of the day, as the Grand Prix of Hispanicity, Listed Local, Made In Spain Breeders will be run. According to the racetrack, the event will gather the fastest and finest thoroughbreds over 1,600 meters of track. The races will start at 11:30 AM and will be held at 35-minute intervals.

The Grand Prix Auction ACPSIE 2023, Category A, Made In Spain, reserved for two-year-old colts and fillies offered at the public yearling auction organized by ACPSIE in 2023, will also be contested. Eleven horses will participate in the race over a course of 1,400 meters.

Before the start of the race day, all participating horses will be part of a parade in front of the racetrack stands. Moreover, attendees will be able to enjoy a varied gastronomic experience offered in the various food trucks located in the north and south gardens.

Meanwhile, the Hipódromo de La Zarzuela bade farewell to the Nights at the Racetrack, which began in June and extended until August 10, concluding the summer season. In total, 19 sessions were held where 71 thoroughbred races took place.

The activities were carried out on different days, between Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 8 PM until midnight. Many fans and the general public attended the races, where they also enjoyed a varied gastronomic offering in different food trucks.
