According to Philippine media, a Chinese businessman was robbed by a group of robbers at his residence in Kawit.
According to a report from the 4A police station, eight robbers arrived at the residence of the Chinese businessman in two vehicles at 2:30 AM on the 16th. They threatened the businessman's bodyguards and a Chinese chef with guns, and tied them up.
They stole their mobile phones, a total of 100,000 pesos in cash, and the bodyguard's gun, then fled the crime scene.
It is reported that during the robbery, the eight robbers did not manage to enter the second floor of the house where the Chinese businessman was resting.
The Kawit police station stated that follow-up actions to arrest the suspects are ongoing.
The Philippine authorities are currently investigating a suspect.
