Spain.- The Spanish Federation of Rehabilitated Gamblers (Fejar) convened the VI Scientific Conference "Educating in values", which took place in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). The prevention of gambling disorders, especially among young people, was one of the main topics of the event.

During the meeting, which had the collaboration of the Chair on Responsible Gaming and its Communication from the ONCE Social Group and the UCM, tools on good gaming practices were offered to educators and teachers. According to the president of Fejar, Máximo Enrique Gutiérrez, "these conferences are called scientific because they have a high academic component, and prevention because we believe that preventing risk behaviors around gambling is fundamental, especially with the current wide range of gambling options available."

During the inauguration, the general director of ONCE, Ángel Sánchez, expressed the organization's commitment to responsible gaming. "We are not a gaming operator. We are a service entity, whose purpose is nothing other than the social integration of people who are blind and with severe visual disabilities and solidarity with other disability groups. All this we can do thanks to our social, safe, and responsible lotteries and the solidarity of the citizens, which allow us to obtain the resources to carry out this work." Moreover, the general director of ONCE highlighted: "Our unwavering purpose is that gaming always remains a game and never becomes a problem."
