Spain.- The Casino Gran Vía de Madrid will host the finale of the Sportium Sixers Poker Series 2024, scheduled from December 2 to 9. The tournament, which was inaugurated at Casino Marbella in April and will end in the Spanish capital, includes four stages of play at different Spanish casinos. The event also passed through the cities of Valencia and Barcelona.
The final will take place on the last day of the stage in Madrid and will feature the top six players of the circuit, selected based on the points accumulated during the various stops of the competition. The finalists will compete at a single table and vie for various prizes, including a package for the World Series of Poker (WSOP). The award will allow the winner to participate in the world's largest poker event, held annually in Las Vegas.
During the December stage, various tournaments will be held: Opener, High Roller, Main Event, Total PKO, Omaha, Niners, and Closer. Additionally, there will be satellite tournaments.
The 2024 edition included a new stop, increasing from three to four stages. The event began at Casino Marbella in April and continued at Casino Cirsa Valencia in June. The third stop took place at Casino Barcelona from October 1 to 6, and the tournament will conclude at Casino Gran Vía Madrid next month.
Like the last edition, the Sportium Sixers Series not only included a poker tournament but also featured other activities. Players could participate in padel tournaments, where two entries to one of the internal tournaments at each stop were distributed.
Meanwhile, after the stages at Casino Barcelona and Casino Perelada, the Catalunya Poker Tour reached Casino Tarragona to celebrate the finale of the poker event and crown its new champion. The competition took place from November 14 to 17.
