The Medellín Lottery presented its Accountability Report 2024, highlighting significant financial, social, and operational achievements. This exercise in transparency and Citizen Participation was broadcast live on Facebook.
Among the most relevant milestones are:
- Total sales: as of November 8, 2024, sales reached $141.418 billion.
- Prizes awarded: more than $70.744 billion were distributed to bettors, equivalent to 57.14% of sales.
- Transfers to health: the entity allocated $112.696 billion, strengthening the Colombian health system.
- Acknowledgments: renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 certification and awards from Fenalco Solidario and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) for transparency and sustainability.
The manager of the Lottery, Octavio de Jesús Duque Jiménez, stated: “We are satisfied with the achievements obtained and committed to continue leading the national market in 2025, optimizing our technological platforms and increasing transfers for health”.
