Galaxsys launched an innovative turbo game featuring the legendary soccer player Luís Figo.
Press release.- Galaxsys has announced its new game, FlGOAL, in partnership with the soccer legend and Ballon d'Or winner, Luís Figo.
This is the first collaboration of Galaxsys with the soccer icon to develop a branded game. Through this collaboration, Galaxsys has combined Figo's legendary status and soccer legacy with its expertise in creating dynamic and engaging games. The result is a game that not only celebrates a soccer legend but also resonates with players around the world, highlighting Galaxsys's commitment to producing creative, bold, and innovative games.
Hayk Sargsyan, CEO of Galaxsys, commented on the special launch of this game: "Collaborating with Luís Figo on FIGOAL has been an extraordinary milestone and a project of great significance for the entire team. We committed to ensuring that every detail was perfect, as this is not just a game but a celebration of Luís Figo's incredible legacy. Vigen Safaryan, product director at Galaxsys, added: "From the beginning, we knew this would be a big and challenging project, but we were incredibly excited to take it on. We spent a lot of time developing detailed storyboards and complex game mechanics. Recognizing the remarkable legacy and unique journey of this legendary soccer player, we introduced a special feature that allows players to choose Figo's jersey from five options, representing the four clubs he played for and the national team of Portugal. We are proud of the result and confident it will resonate with partners and players, reflecting the care and dedication we put into every detail."
FIGOAL is a turbo-themed soccer game starring the iconic soccer player Luís Figo. To start the game, players select their desired bet amount and hold down the "Hold" button. This action sets Figo in motion as he begins to freestyle with the ball while a potential winnings multiplier steadily increases. If players release the "Hold" button before the ball falls, they earn a win multiplied by the current round's multiplier.
The game room will be located within the newly opened Princess Resort, and it is expected to open its doors in the fourth quarter of next year.
Jamaica.- In the context of the inauguration of the Princess Resort, a hotel complex in Jamaica that involved a USD400m investment, authorities confirmed that in 2025, the country's first casino will be incorporated into the tourist establishment.
The information was released during the official inauguration of the Princess Grand Jamaica and the Princess Senses The Mangrove, last Thursday, December 12. According to local media, there, Enrico Pezzoli, general manager of Princess Hotels & Resorts, stated that they are proud to be "the first in Jamaica to offer a full-service casino."
And he added: "Guests will be able to enjoy a state-of-the-art gaming room while also enjoying top-notch food and beverages. Construction has already begun, and we are planning to open our casino in the fourth quarter of 2025."
For his part, Delano Seiveright, an official of the Ministry of Tourism of Jamaica, confirmed that the casino will be part of the second phase of the tourism project, as in March of this year, it received the corresponding license.
It is worth remembering that in 2010, the Casino Gaming Act was enacted, which enabled the Ministry to issue integrated resort development (AIRD) orders, allowing hotels to apply to the Casino Gaming Commission for an operating license. However, although several hotels had applied for the AIRD permit, no hotel complex had managed to raise the funds for the execution of the projects. The AIRDs were defined as precincts that include a combination of amenities, such as hotels, casinos, attractions, sports and entertainment facilities, and shopping centers.
The recently inaugurated Princess Resort has 1,005 rooms and several overwater suites. It currently has a staff of 1,400 people, which will be expanded to 1,700 when the complex "is at full capacity."
The inauguration of the Grand Jamaica was attended by the Prime Minister, Andrew Holness; the Minister of Tourism, Hon Edmund Bartlett; the Mayor of Lucea, Councilor Sheridan Samuels, among other Jamaican authorities.
