The Chamber of Casino Rooms, Bingos and Annexes denounced the site Stake, which sponsored the event "Stand on Hands" in Vélez.

Argentina.- The Chamber of Casino Rooms, Bingos and Annexes (CASCBA) denounced the site Stake, sponsor of the event "Stand on Hands", which gathered a series of streamers at the Vélez stadium in Buenos Aires City in front of hundreds of live spectators and thousands online. In the presentation, they requested the intervention of judicial and regulatory authorities to investigate the operations of the online betting house that operates without a license and to take the necessary measures to stop its illegal activity in the territory.

According to the Chamber's authorities, this casino "is an online betting platform that allows minors to play without uploading their data", they also recalled that this same site was already denounced in September of this year for operating in Argentina "illegally, without controls for minors and without paying taxes".

As reported by the regulatory entity, "it is striking that this happens just at a time when illegal betting and minors are causing problems in all schools across the country. While the Chamber of Deputies approved a law to restrict advertising of legal casinos, which still has to be approved by the Senate, illegal ones seem to move without problems and sponsor massive events".

According to the complaint, Stake's actions "not only violate local laws that regulate gambling and online betting, but also undermine the efforts of the State and companies to ensure a transparent, responsible, and safe market". In this sense, "the lack of regulation on sites like Stake represents a serious risk for young people, who can only play clandestinely, and for all customers, since they do not offer guarantees against gambling addiction or money laundering", they added.

Among the prominent personalities who participated in yesterday's event organized by streamer Luquitas Rodríguez are Sergio Maravilla Martínez, Pablo Migliore, Turco García, Roberto Galati, Yeyito de Gregorio. "Among the women, the confrontation between Manuela QM and Flor Vigna stands out, who also has a criminal complaint for promoting illegal casinos", emphasized the authorities of CASCBA.

Finally, the Chamber called on sports event organizers, sponsors, and related entities to respect current regulations and avoid associating with unregulated operators.

The businesswoman, host, and influencer Wanda Nara was summoned for an investigative statement by the Buenos Aires City Justice, accused of promoting online clandestine gambling. The case was initiated ex officio by prosecutor Juan Rozas of the Specialized Gambling Prosecution Office of CABA after the media personality posted on her Instagram account (which has about 17 million followers), an image promoting betting on the site HitItBet, which does not have a license to offer such services. Shortly after, the prosecutor formally charged her with "promotion and recruitment of bettors" through advertising on social networks and other channels.

The new charge against Nara is related to the accusations made by the MPF CABA to other influencers accused of promoting online clandestine gambling, in an investigation led by prosecutors Alejandro Musso and Juan Rozas, from the UFEIC of San Isidro and the FEJA of Buenos Aires.

In October, prosecutor Rozas began taking statements from influencers summoned by the Justice for promoting through social networks sites of bets that operate without a license.

It is worth noting that there are 16 influencers under scrutiny as a result of a judicial investigation that included raids and a detention in a private neighborhood on the Atlantic Coast of Buenos Aires. The summons were issued to appear at the prosecutor's office, Paseo Colón Avenue 1333. The case was initiated following a complaint from the Argentine Chamber of Casino Rooms, Bingos and Annexes.
