The University Technical Degree in Management and Administration of Gambling Games is calling for new students.
Argentina.- The Association of Argentine State Lotteries (ALEA) announced that pre-registrations are now open for a new cycle of the University Technical Degree in Management and Administration of Gambling Games. The pre-registration deadline is set for February 21, 2025. Classes begin in March.
The program, managed jointly with the Provincial University of Administration, Technology, and Crafts (UPATecO) of Salta, is the first professional training designed for those who work in gambling regulatory bodies and in private sector companies that operate gaming rooms. It is offered virtually and has a duration of three years, divided into two semesters per year.
As explained by ALEA, the program provides through e-learning teaching methodology, modular structure content, adapted to the reality of the country and expanded to the Latin American region.
In 2017, ALEA added to its proposal of courses, seminars, and workshops, the Technical Degree to offer comprehensive training to the staff of the lotteries of Argentina, consisting of more than 12,000 employees. Since then to date, more than 250 students have chosen it, of which 108 are already University Technicians in Management and Administration of Gambling Games.
"The career is achieving the transformation and strengthening of the management of the regulatory institutions of gambling games and the main supplier companies of the sector in Argentina and Latin America," ALEA stated.

The planning for the first year includes the following topics: Verbal and non-verbal communication; Analytical thinking; Current geopolitical scenarios and foresight; Traditional games; Introduction to online gaming; Casino games; Political and institutional communication; Cultural anthropology of gaming; Customer – citizen service.
Similarly, the second year includes: Technological reengineering and playful innovations; Statistical analysis; Project management in gambling games; People management; Elements of law; Business administration; Leadership and teamwork; Quality and results applied to the Integral Management of Gambling Games; Professionalizing Practice I.
While the third year includes: Promotion of responsible gaming and prevention of pathological gambling; Professionalizing Practice II; Complex gaming environments; Financial administration; Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism; Games with new technologies; Information Security; Technical English; Final Integrative Project.
To work in a gambling regulatory body, under any of the modalities provided by public employment regulations, perform tasks in private gambling operators, sector suppliers, or be interested in the gambling sector. Complete secondary studies.
The opening of a new cohort is subject to covering a minimum quota of 45 students.
