Botafogo is gearing up to officially unveil its new master sponsorship at a special event in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro this Monday (6). The news comes after a historic season for the club from Rio, which won the Libertadores and the Brazilian Championship, ending an unforgettable year for its fans.
The new partnership will be with a betting house that will replace Parimatch, the previous sponsor. The contract signed with bet will guarantee an annual payment of R$ 55 million, which could reach R$ 70 million if performance targets are met. Lasting three years, the agreement promises to secure at least R$ 165 million for the alvinegro's coffers, representing one of the largest revenues in the club's history.
At the beginning of 2023, Botafogo had signed a contract with Parimatch, which invested R$ 27.5 million annually during two years of partnership. This collaboration, considered the largest until then, ended in December 2024, paving the way for the agreement with the new sponsor.
With the arrival of the new sponsor, Botafogo reaches the position of the sixth largest master sponsorship in Brazilian football, only behind Flamengo, Corinthians, Palmeiras, and Vasco. The Glorioso now receives values higher than clubs like São Paulo and Fluminense, reinforcing its growing relevance in the national scene.
The announcement event promises to be an important milestone for the club, which continues to reap the benefits of its brilliant season in 2024. With the significant financial support from the betting house, Botafogo hopes not only to maintain but also to expand its competitiveness in the coming years, both in Brazil and on the international scene.
