Internacional kicked off its 2025 season on Thursday night (16th), facing the Mexican National Team in a friendly at Beira-Rio. To mark the return of the Colorado, EstrelaBet, the club and stadium sponsor, promoted the 'Noche Estrellada', a set of thematic activations that provided a unique experience for over 40,000 fans in Porto Alegre (RS).
The Brazilian betting house also prepared special actions at the EstrelaBet Confraternity, a sponsored space in front of Beira-Rio, where fans could enjoy typical Mexican food and drinks. Moreover, the festive atmosphere was enhanced with interactive games, such as the traditional piñata, and the distribution of thematic accessories, including sombreros and mustaches.
"Football goes beyond the four lines – it's passion, culture, and connection. This friendly was not just a reunion of the club with its fans, but also an opportunity to celebrate the sport in a different way, bringing elements of Mexican culture to make the experience even more special. We wanted the Colorado fans not only to cheer for the team but also to have fun and experience something unique at Beira-Rio," states Renan Cavalcanti, CMO of EstrelaBet.
The program also included the participation of influencers. The passionate Internacional fan David Coradi generated exclusive content and interacted with the Colorados, awarding some with tickets and gifts. Meanwhile, Juliano Machado took on the role of "EstrelaBet Reporter," with exclusive access to the backstage of the game, conducting a complete coverage directly from the field for the betting house's social networks.
To complete the experience, a photographic panel was set up in the Beira-Rio courtyard, where fans could fit their faces and take pictures, simulating the wearing of typical Mexican outfits.
