Lottopar and Cibelae are preparing for a historic meeting focused on sustainable and safe practices in the lottery sector.
Brazil.- The leadership of the Paraná State Lottery (Lottopar) and the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (Cibelae) met in Foz do Iguaçu to conduct technical visits and prepare the ground for the largest responsible gaming event in Latin America, which will be held in June 2025. The city, famous for hosting the Iguazu Falls, will be the venue for the meeting that will bring together representatives from lottery institutions and companies from around the world.
During the visit, the directors assessed the local infrastructure, including event centers, transport logistics, and lodging, to ensure the event's success. For Rogério Nogueira, financial director of Lottopar, the event will be an opportunity not only to promote responsible gaming practices but also to boost the economy and tourism of the region. "It will be an event that will place Paraná at the center of discussions on safe and sustainable practices in the lottery sector, while bringing benefits to local tourism," highlighted Nogueira.
Stephanny Fernandes, chief of staff of Lottopar, emphasized the importance of the event, which will be held for the first time in Foz do Iguaçu. She assured that the meeting will be a showcase to the world. "It will be a unique moment of learning and exchanging experiences, with a focus on promoting responsible practices within the sector," she stated.

The alliance between Lottopar and Cibelae, which began in 2023 with Lottopar joining the corporation, has been fundamental in implementing responsible gaming policies and combating illicit activities in the lottery market. Additionally, Lottopar is now part of Cibelae's Anti-Money Laundering Certification Committee, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and security in the sector.
