I believe everyone is aware of the sensational Philippine hotpot restaurant shooting incident, where the perpetrator's cruelty and his nonchalant attitude afterwards were infuriating.
Now, Baolong has committed another crime, kidnapping a 14-year-old Chinese boy in BGC City, Philippines! The boy's right little finger was severed, and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 20 million US dollars from his family.
The Philippine Ministry of the Interior held a press conference stating that the police successfully located the kidnapper's mobile signal on the evening of February 25th, and launched a roundup in Parañaque City. However, during the escape, the kidnappers abandoned the boy on the roadside. The police later found him wearing pajamas, severely injured, and immediately took him to the hospital for treatment. It is reported that part of the victim's fingers were severed, showing the kidnappers' extreme methods.
The Philippine Interior Minister stated that the police have fully identified the identity of the kidnappers, one of the masterminds being a Chinese man who shot a compatriot repeatedly inside a hotpot restaurant in Makati last October.
Moreover, the Chinese kidnapper leader "Baolong" has shocked Philippine President Marcos, who ordered a full-scale manhunt.
Remulla stated that the kidnapping group consists of 22 members, including four Chinese leaders;
"This case is shocking, and both the planners and the victim's family are related to the POGO industry," Remulla revealed, stating that the mastermind had operated an illegal POGO from 2017 to 2022 and was notorious for being involved in a murder case in a Makati restaurant last year.
"He is still in the Philippines, and we have identified his identity and range of activities, and it is almost certain that they will be arrested soon!" Remulla firmly stated.
Through signal interception and close surveillance, the police successfully located the hiding place of the victimized boy. When the kidnappers realized the police were closing in, they abandoned their vehicle and fled, resulting in the boy being safely rescued. Meanwhile, the police found the victim's vehicle in San Rafael, Bulacan Province, with the driver suspected of colluding with the kidnappers. His mobile data revealed direct contacts with the criminal group, likely being an accomplice.
Remulla assured the Philippine public that the police have taken comprehensive measures to ensure that similar cases do not occur again. He emphasized: "The Philippine National Police have sufficient resources and capabilities to deal with such crimes, and we will do everything possible to ensure the safety of the Philippine people."
The investigation of this case is still ongoing, and the police have intensified the nationwide manhunt, vowing to bring the suspects to justice.
