The institution explained that in 2019 the provincial lottery was born along with the inauguration of the new Drawing Room, representing a significant advancement for the agency and the community as it is used by the Province to conduct various public draws such as housing, lots, jury trials, among others.
"For six years, the Rio Negro Lottery has been committed to technological investment to provide security and transparent draws, to strengthen its market presence, and to improve every year in terms of collections that benefit the entire population," the institution stated.
Yesterday, Wednesday, March 12, in the evening, La Quiniela La Rionegrina marked six years in operation, having conducted a total of 7854 draws that are broadcast live from Monday to Saturday. "This highlights its growth in the market, popularity, and regional consolidation, making its way among other lotteries in the country," the authorities maintained at the celebration.
Furthermore, they detailed that during 2024 it collected more than AR$4.900.000.000 (USD4.6m) of which 65 percent were allocated to the payment of bettors' prizes. The remaining 35 percent is the positive balance of collection that amounted to AR$1.715.000.000 (USD1.6m).
It is worth noting that all the positive balances of the provincial lottery, and other games like Patagonia Telebingo, are distributed to the province in compliance with Law K48, benefiting all the people of Rionegrino.
On the other hand, the modernity of the new Drawing Room allowed the Rio Negro Lottery to be part of Unified Lottery formed by Neuquén, Catamarca, Jujuy, Chaco, Corrientes, Mendoza, Misiones, La Pampa, Santa Cruz, Formosa, and Rio Negro.
In February, within the framework of the "Responsible Gaming Month", the Rio Negro Lottery intensified its efforts in promoting responsible gaming, with prevention and awareness campaigns, and special activities.
The Patagonian Lottery has a toll-free telephone line available 24 hours a day (0800), where a therapeutic team provides guidance to players and family members who need help. Additionally, during February, activities were held on the waterfront and in the vicinity of the Lottery, with the distribution of informational material, interactive games, and consultation spaces. Moreover, the casinos and the Lottery building were illuminated in green, the distinctive color of the campaign. Another fundamental focus is the fight against illegal gambling, with special attention to the protection of minors.
