International Gaming Technology (IGT) has been awarded a contract by the Ohio Lottery Commission to provide Intelligen central monitoring systems for Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs).
The contract, which runs from May 2024 to July 2033, was won through a competitive bidding process that included an option for Ohio to renew the agreement for up to two additional one-year terms.
The agreement includes the supply of IGT’s Intelligen central monitoring system hardware and software, providing ongoing monitoring and support for more than 10,000 VLT machines.
The machines are currently located at seven Ohio racetracks: Belterra Park Cincinnati, Eldorado Scioto Downs, Jack Thistledown Racino, Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway, Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Race Course, MGM Northfield Park and Miami Valley Gaming.
Commenting on the update, Nick Khin, chief operating officer of IGT's gaming division, said: "We look forward to providing IGT's leading VLT products and solutions to the Ohio Lottery Commission."
“Winning this highly competitive RFP process is a testament to IGT’s significant innovation, dedication to central monitoring systems, and the talented team of professionals who continue to drive our success.”
IGT also signed a three-year contract extension with the Mississippi Lottery. The expansion introduces mobile convenience apps, 28 new kiosks and the Sales Wizard retail automation tool.
