Game supplier Beter has announced a new partnership agreement, which will provide its ESportsBattle tournament products to online and retail sports betting operator Codere.
Codere, already established in the Latin American and Spanish markets, will now integrate Beter's electronic football and basketball products under the ESportsBattle brand to further enhance its customer service. This latest development follows Codere's Q2 2024 performance announcement, where the company reported a positive EBITDA and a 39% increase in Net Gaming Revenue (NGR), reaching 51.7 million euros ($56.1 million). The company hopes this new deal will help consolidate these positive financial results.
Commenting on the latest developments, Codere's sports betting operations manager Sergio Garcia said: "Beter has quickly become a leading provider of fast betting content, and we absolutely want to meet players' needs by offering them the ESportsBattle series of games.
"Beter's existing products are top-notch, and we have seen high engagement from players. Our team looks forward to achieving fruitful results soon."
For Beter, this latest development follows its first partnership agreement with an African operator—last month, the company signed a new agreement with SportyBet. Under this agreement, Beter will provide both sports and esports content. Additionally, the company announced the appointment of a new Chief Commercial Officer, Alina Mihaela, in July.
Beter CEO Gal Ehrlich, speaking about the partnership with Codere, said: "We are delighted to add Codere to our growing list of renowned operators, using our fast betting content to attract the next generation of players and provide the betting experience they seek.
"Our esports products offer continuous betting on the most popular items such as electronic football and basketball, and Codere can now use these bets to strengthen the content offered to players."
