Sports Information Services (SIS) has partnered with Codere to launch competitive gaming esports products, now available in retail and online channels in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, and Spain.
The new products include eFootball and eBasketball events from the H2H Global Gaming League, aimed at providing continuous betting opportunities with over 150,000 events held annually.
These events are produced internally at SIS's UK-based studio, specifically crafted for sports betting. They feature ultra-low latency live streaming and integrity referees trained by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC). This launch aims to expand Codere's betting options in its listed markets.
Angel Calderon, SIS Iberia, UK, and Europe Sales Director, stated: "We are thrilled to provide Codere with round-the-clock eFootball and eBasketball content, and believe this will not only offer more choices for their customers but also bring significant additional revenue."
Sergio Garcia, Sports Betting Operations Manager at Codere, noted: "Our goal is to enhance our position in the market by offering the best betting products, and this integration helps us achieve that. SIS is renowned for providing a variety of highly attractive quality events that draw a large betting audience in both retail and online channels."
This release is another move following SIS's expanded partnership with bet365, integrating SIS's eFootball product suite with its existing eBasketball products in regulated markets. SIS has been actively expanding its esports content, including partnerships with Betbazar and Bitville Gaming.
In August 2024, Codere will partner with game supplier Beter to distribute eFootball and eBasketball content through Beter's ESportsBattle tournaments.
