Argentina.- Members of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Official Lottery Agents and Related Bonaerense (CAOLAB), met with the provincial director of Games of the Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos of Buenos Aires (IPLyC), Carlos Gallo, to advance on various claims that CAOLAB seeks to resolve promptly.
Among the points discussed at the meeting, the management that the Chamber is carrying out in the State Attorney's office was addressed, with the aim of involving this judicial entity in the fight against illegal gambling. Additionally, discussions were held about the implementation of a QR code for betting payments, future extraordinary draws, and an issue that CAOLAB wants to modify promptly: the advertising of the draws, in addition to the lottery.
In this regard, the chamber presented a note to record their claim and for the IPLyC to start taking action in order to launch an advertising campaign.
«Aware of the upcoming launch date of the extraordinary Christmas and Kings' Day draws, we believe it appropriate to request that you allocate the necessary resources for a massive advertising campaign through some television channel, for the aforementioned draws,» requested the chamber to the provincial regulator.
